In 2004, Askov Finlayson co-founder Eric Dayton was a member of a six-month Arctic dogsled expedition led by legendary polar explorer Will Steger. On that trip, Will introduced Eric to BAD BAGS, which Will swears by for its incredible durability. And Eric has sworn by BAD BAGS ever since. We’re proud to partner with Best American Duffel to create this limited-edition bag.
The Askov Finlayson x BAD duffel is made in Seattle of 1,000-denier CORDURA®, a nylon fabric that despite its brushed-cotton appearance has been generously coated with urethane and DWR (durable water-repellent finish) to resist water and abrasion. Every bag is double-stitched and seam-taped, and reinforced with 6,000-pound break-strength nylon webbing. The quality, materials, and workmanship are guaranteed for life.
